Dr. Michal Yalon specializes in Pediatric-Hemato-Oncology at Sheba Medical Center.
She graduated with Honors from The Faculty of Medicine, Technion University, and was trained in pediatrics at the Carmel Hospital in Israel. In 2003, Dr. Yalon received PhD in medical science at Faculty of Medicine, Technion University. She is in charge and manager of Pediatric Brain Tumors cases at Sheba Medical Center beginning from June 2006.
Dr. Yalon passed additional training in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology at Pediatric Neuro-Oncology department at Sick Kids Hospital, in Toronto, and in Pediatric Neurology at Children’s National Medical Center, in Washington. She is GCP certified.
Dr. Yalon took part in Clinical trials in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology. She was awarded as The best lecture in an AACR (American association for cancer research) conference on Telomeres and by Talpiot Sheba Scholarship for the promotion of research and excellence.
