• Dr. Bhavisha Ghugare is a Consultant- Surgical Oncology, Breast Oncosurgeon practising at HCG Cancer Centre, Mumbai. She is a seasoned breast cancer consultant and oncoplastic surgeon with over 16 years of experience.
• She has specialist expertise in one-stop rapid assessment for various breast conditions, family history risk assessment, genetic testing, and breast screening. She is extensively experienced in managing breast cancer, and her key areas of expertise include:
• Breast conservation surgery including, sentinel node biopsy using radiocolloid and isosulfan blue dye oncoplastic breast conservation, round block, etc.
• Skin sparing and the nipple-areola complex preserving mastectomies (where breast conservation is not possible) with reconstruction
• Bilateral prophylactic mastectomies
• Microdochectomy for nipple discharge
• Phyllodes tumour

• Dr. Bhavisha has received her general surgery training from Grant Medical College, Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai.
• She has completed her fellowship training in breast cancer surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
