• Dr. Rajendra Toprani is the chief of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Department at HCG Cancer Centre, Ahmedabad.
• Dr. Rajendra’s areas of interest are Oral & Laryngeal Cancers, Thyroid and Parotid tumours.
• He is also an expert in performing Voice Preserving laryngectomies and Transoral Endoscopic Laser Surgery (TOLS).
• He is also a trained Robotic Surgeon and has vast experience in minimally invasive surgery (MIS)
• Dr. Rajendra attends approximately 4000 cases every year.

Training and Certifications

• Dr. Rajendra completed his advanced training in Head & Neck Oncology from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre (MSKCC), New York, USA in 1996.
• He has also received training in Endoscopic Laser Surgery from a reputed institute in Kiel, Germany, in 2009.
• Dr. Rajendra received training for Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) at UPENN, Philadelphia in 2016.

Recognition

• Dr. Rajendra is the President-Elect of the Indian Society of Oncology (ISO) and the Immediate President-Elect of Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO).
• He is a visiting fellow at M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, USA & MSKCC, New York, USA.
• He was the organising secretary of the International Federation of Head & Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) world tour 2012 conference at Ahmedabad.
