About Dr. Rupal Chheda

Dr Rupal Chheda heads the department of Radiation Oncology at Fortis Hospital, Mulund. She completed her post-graduation in Radiotherapy from the premier institute, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and has worked as Associate Consultant at Lady Ratan Tata Medical and Research Centre and Bombay Hospital. She has been instrumental in the planning and setting up of the department Radiation Oncology at Fortis Mumbai. With over 20 years of experience, she has vast expertise in various precision radiotherapy techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), Gated Radiotherapy and Brachytherapy. She believes in evidence based multidisciplinary working with clear communication providing compassionate and personalised patient care.
