About Prof. Dr. Satish Rudrappa

Dr. Satish Rudrappa serves as the Group Director for the International Institute of Neurosciences & Spine care at ASTER Whitefield Hospital. He is also a Visiting Professor of Neurosurgery at Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. Recognized for his outstanding contributions as a surgeon and teacher in the field of Neurosurgery, he has been inducted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), Glasgow, UK. In the past, he held positions such as Visiting Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Louisiana State University, Shreveport, Louisiana, USA, and Education Officer of AOSpine Asia Pacific. He also served as the Past President of the Neurosurgeons Spine Society of India.

Dr. Satish Rudrappa is renowned as the pioneer of Brain and Spine Image guided procedures in India and has been involved in numerous ground-breaking surgeries. His areas of expertise include Brain Tumor surgery, Skull Base tumor surgery, Epilepsy surgery, Complex Spine and Reconstructive surgery, Craniovertebral junction anomaly surgeries, Spinal Cord Tumor surgery, and Scoliosis & deformity correction surgery.
