In the past, he held positions such as Visiting Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Louisiana State University, Shreveport, Louisiana, USA, and Education Officer of AOSpine Asia Pacific. He also served as the Past President of the Neurosurgeons Spine Society of India.
