The applicant will fill in the data which is required for visa applications. The applicants should apply to the Turkish Missions to complete the procedures including submission of their visa application forms duly signed and their passports as well as original copies of the application documents that have been already uploaded on the system.

British citizens who want to travel to Turkey with ordinary and diplomatic passports can travel without a visa for up to 90 days in any 180-day period.

For longer stays, UK citizens should require a Turkey visa that can be applied from the nearest Turkish embassy.

Remarks
British citizens who have special passports are required to have visa to enter Turkey. UK passports holders with “British National Overseas”, “British Subject” and “British Protected Person” nationality are subjected to visas and they can only get their visas from the Turkish diplomatic or consular missions abroad. British travelers have to hold a valid passport with more than 150 days remaining before its expiry to enter Turkey. Your passport also contains free blank pages to receive entry stamps from an immigration officer on arrival.

British citizens can stay in Turkey for up to 90 days.
Documents Required For Regular Visa From United Kingdom Towards Turkey
  • A passport that is valid for at least 150 days after the arrival date and has at least one blank page.
  • A visa is not required for visits up to 90 days in any 180-day period. For longer stays, a short-term residence permit is required.
  • A UK bank statement showing a balance of at least £400 for the two months prior to the application date. For stays longer than 10 days, the applicant should have an additional £40 per day in the bank.
  • Travel insurance: A policy that is valid for the duration of the stay in Turkey and covers at least €30,000 in medical costs.
  • Flight tickets: Confirmed round-trip flight tickets.
  • Hotel reservation: Documents for hotel accommodation.
  • Other documents that may be required include:
    Proof of identity, such as an Aadhar Card or PAN
    FIR document if the passport is lost
    Undertaking letter, if the applicant is over 18 years of age
    Copies of the first and last pages of the passport
    Letter from the current or prospective employer
