Dr. Krishna Mohan is the Director & Sr. Interventional Cardiologist at CARE Hospitals, HITEC City. He beings over 22 years of exceptional experience with specialisation in Heart Failure, Device Therapy, and Complex Cardiovascular interventions.

Dr. Krishna Mohan completed his MBBS in 1994 from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, followed by MRCP (UK) in 2002 and FRCP (London) in 2018. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of cardiology, with extensive expertise in managing complex heart failure cases, performing interventional cardiology procedures like coronary angioplasty, peripheral angioplasty and providing device therapy, including pacemakers, CRT and defibrillators. Dr. Krishna Mohan has also pioneered a dedicated Heart Failure clinic in Hyderabad, focusing on advanced treatments for heart failure patients.

Throughout his career, Dr. Krishna Mohan has been actively involved in several international conferences and has presented at renowned forums, including CCT 2019 in Kobe, Japan, and the Heart Failure Society of India. He has also led and contributed to significant research and clinical trials in the field of cardiology, with publications in top journals such as Eur J Haematol and Heart Asia.

• Research involves recruiting subjects for an E-ECHOES study, funded by the British Heart Foundation, and the Department of Primary Care at the University of Birmingham. This includes a full comprehensive assessment of the subjects with questionnaires, clinical assessment, recording ECG, performing Echocardiography, and collecting blood samples.
• The main Aim of the study is to assess the Prevalence of Heart Failure in the South Asian population.
• Was the top recruiter in the United Kingdom for VERITAS and EVEREST trials, which are multi-centre RCTs involving acute decompensated pulmonary oedema patients. Recruited patients at Hull Royal Infirmary and Grimsby Hospital.
