About Prof. Dr. Sermin Kesebir

Overview:

Graduated from Dokuz Elul Medicine School on 1995, and completed her Psychiatry specialty education in Ege University Psychiatry Department. And after completing her compulsory service in Kırıkkale High Specialization Hospital, she has become an associate professor on 2008 in Adnan Menderes University. And between 2009-2014 she has carried out the administration of acute psychosis service as a lecturer in Cerenkov Mental and Neurological Disorders Education and Research Hospital. Prof. Dr. Sermin Kesebir is also a member psychiatric Association of Turkey Mood Disorders Scientific Work Unit, Abdülkadir Uzbek Psychodrama Institute, Foundation of Halime Dag Psychoanalytic Psychotherapies, Bipolar Life Association, American Psychological Association (APA), International Society for Bipolar Disorders (ISBD) and International Society for Effective Disorders (ISAD). Prof. Dr. Sermin Kesebir’s base interest and specialties: Mood disorders (depressive disorders and bipolar – two pronged- disorders- manic depressive illness), consultation lyceum psychiatry and psychoanalytic psychotherapies.
