Dr.B.Prakash has completed his MBBS from Chengalpattu Medical College, during 1990, MD General Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, MANIPAL. After completing his DM Course in Madras Institute of Neurology (1998), he moved to Coimbatore. He was trained by the Top Neurologists of Chennai and Coimbatore. After five years of consultant practice in a private institute at Coimbatore, he had joined as Assistant professor in PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research from Jan 2004 to Mar 2007, promoted to Associate Professor from April 2004 to March 2011 and then became Professor by April 2011. He had attended so far 54 CME programs, 52 national and international conferences, guided eight thesis works, had organized DM PG training programs regularly and taken more than 100 classes for DM students of Neurology, trained successfully 5 post graduates of Neurology.
