Retina Department of our hospital is supported by Dr Kumar Sambhav. He underwent his basic medical education (MBBS) from J.N.Medical College, Aligarh and Diploma in Ophthalmology from Institute of Ophthalmology, JNMCH, Aligarh. He pursued his higher education, Diplomate in national Board (Ophthalmology) from Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Medical Trust, Coimbatore. Then, he spent a year in Sankara Eye Care Hospital, Coimbatore undergoing training in Medical Retina. He is also trained in the art of latest cataract surgical procedure, Phacoemulsification. He has a lot of experience in managing glaucoma patients. He has to his credit more than 10,000 cataract surgeries.
He is specially trained in the management of Diabetic Retinal Disorders and Laser Treatment of various retinal disorders.
He regularly presents papers and has a lot of publications in various peer reviewed national and international journals
