Dr Rahul S Kanaka is graduated from a reputed medical college in Gulbarga. He then went on to complete his master degree in general surgery at prestigious Karnataka medical college in Hubli. He further pursued his MCh in surgical oncology from Adyar cancer institute, Chennai. He was trained in Robotic surgery in Hyderabad. He is also trained in flap reconstruction and vascular surgery from Amrita institute of medical sciences, Cochin. Dr. Rahul has been academically very sound and was a meritorious student throughout his education.
Dr.Rahul Kanaka has worked in Robotic institute for 3 years and has completed Robotic surgery module of Davinci online community and was awarded as the ‘Robotic scholar’ for the year 2016.
Dr. Rahul Kanaka has vast experience in performing meticulous oncological resections like Total peritonectomy with HIPEC, limb sparing surgeries , Whipple ‘s procedure, esophgectomy, gastrecto my, laryngectomy, craniofacial resections, mastectomy, pelvic exenterations, abd omino-perineal resections, lung resections etc.
