Dr. Suresh Jayabalan - Consultant in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India
Dr. Suresh Jayabalan got Anna Award from TamilNadu Government during his high school studies and educational district topper in Higher Secondary. He did his undergraduate (MBBS) from the Madras Medical College, Chennai and also did his Masters in Neurosurgery (M.Ch.) at the same prestigious institute. He also underwent specialized neurosurgical training at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute (SGPGI), Lucknow. He worked as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Kochi and Karur before leaving to abroad. He served in the Ministry of Health, Brunei Darussalan as a Neurosurgeon before joining the Greater Manchester Neurosciences Center, Manchester, United Kingdom. Dr. Suresh Jayabalan successfully qualified for Membership (MRCS) and Fellowship (FRCS) in Neurosurgery from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He specialized in managing sub arachnoid haemmorage, aneurysms, AVMs and got the fellowship for the same from United Kingdom. He has acquired specialized training around the world including Japan, Fellowship from Fujita Health University, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.
