Dr. Vijay Agarwal has done his MBBS, MS (Surgery in General) from Calcutta University and M.Ch (CTVS) from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, and FRCS. He has worked as specialist Registrar at UCL, London, Liverpool & Belfast before working as a Consultant in Sathya Sai Hospital Puttaparthi, Madras Medical Mission, Chennai. In the last 5 years, he was a Program Director at Fortis, Mulund. Dr. Vijay Agarwal operates almost 450-500 cases annually of which 30 to 40% are neonates. Apart from routine simple & complex congenial surgery, his area of interest is the Arterial switch Operation and Nikaidoh Procedure (of which he has one of the latest series in India). He has done pioneering work in the use of 3 D printing in assisting planning of complex Congenial Surgery.
